One time Nathan and Johnny were playing a detective game and they took a stamp pad and made footprints (to follow with their magnifying glass, of course) around and around the island in the kitchen. Fortunately, I got pictures.

That mattress was my first purchase (90 days same as cash) when I started my job after graduating from OSU in 1978. I got my money’s worth out of that one! I found the beautiful old bedframe upstairs above my parent’s garage. I love Michael’s remark, too. I can hear him say it. Hurrah for the science project! Love it when my kids surpass their mother in homeschooling.

You’re right, City of God. MUCH bigger book. Not nearly so introspective, though. At least, not in the first 24 pages! I think perhaps postponing City of God would be just fine for now. Maybe ’til mid-summer? Or 2011. I’ll have to look up My Life in France!
