Sorry All…. just too busy to write. Why, you may ask? Well, tax season is over and so now the year has sped up for me with events to attend, hospitality to give, and evenings to spend… with my husband! Plus, since he’s here for dinner, I’m actually cooking dinner more often. And last week we started “real school.” This only takes about 2 hours every morning, but it’s 2 hours I might otherwise have been cooking, doing dishes, doing laundry, changing diapers, vacuuming, doing errands… you get the idea! Just now we’re off to a dress-rehearsal for the Kings Academy Dinner Theatre – the kids aren’t going to the actual dinner theatre, so we’re going to watch the dress rehearsal so they get to partake of the fun. TTFN!

Hi Elly! I just thought I’d (finally) drop you a note to let you know that I read your blog.
In case you’re wondering who in thunderation this is, in my former life I was a Walker.\par
I can commiserate with you to some extent about losing your husband for part of the year. My husband delivers propane, so his busy season is winter (which mercifully we are done with now). Although, he wasn’t late enough for me not to have to cook dinner, we just didn’t eat until 7:30 some nights.
Thanks Leah! It’s nice to know you have an audience.

Yes, I’m certainly not the only woman out there who’s husband works long hours! And for some people it’s year-round. Praise God for April 15th!
