Here’s the project I’ve been working on nearly every day for the last 5 weeks – and all afternoon every afternoon for the last week (except Saturday and Sunday):\par

I had this project in mind as early as last fall, but was in no hurry. That is, until our church decided to have a Winter Arts Festival where people could display their own art – so then I had a deadline: Friday, March 20th. I finished it this afternoon, with more than 24 hours to spare! Nothing like a deadline to make you actually start and finish a project! Otherwise, who knows when -\’c2\~or if -\’c2\~I would’ve gotten around to it.\par

Of course, after a week of being largely left to itself/themselves, my house and children need a lot of attention. For instance, we’ve hardly done school all week. And the boys have spent much of the time during the week “cleaning up their room” with little to show for it. (as happens without adult supervision)\’c2\~Also, the last couple of days especially, the clutter has started to build. And right now, the boys are upstairs supposedly cleaning up an entire bowl of popcorn they accidentally knocked all over the dining room floor. *sigh*\par

I suppose I’d better go supervise.

It’s beautiful! The colors are stunning. I look forward to seeing it on Monica when she grows into it!
WOW!!! It’s really lovely.
Wow! Nice work, Elly!
It turned out gorgeous, Elly! I love the colors and you did a good job coordinating the fabrics. The ribbon embroidery matches perfectly.
Thanks everyone! It sure is nice to have so many compliments.
It’s a pity Monica won’t be able to wear it for so long – it fits Ezra now, so it will be a while!
This is a beautiful dress! Good job!
Wow! It's beautiful! I would love to learn ribbon emroidery sometime. Nice work!
I wouldn't recomment eating spaghetti while wearing this. It's almost too beautiful to use.
