It seems like Monica has gone from being a tiny helpless infant to a little girl in the last month! Not only is she crawling, but she’s eating finger foods, (she kind of skipped spoon-feeding and went right to cheerios, graham crackers, peas, cooked beans, rice, small pieces of leaf on the floor, etc) playing games with people and constantly attempting to pull herself up on vertical surfaces. When she accomplishes this feat she holds on for dear life, smiles hugely, squawks to get your attention and bounces up and down to show how proud of herself she is. Statistically speaking, she doesn’t fall over very often, but she pulls herself up on so many things during the day that she’s falling at least once a day. She hasn’t hit anything very hard yet, and is already learning how to fall more carefully. I remember the first time that Judah fell and gave himself a black eye on the edge of the hearth. I felt like such a terrible mother. But he survived and here he is\’c2\~5 years old already, so I guess life goes on!
