Surgery Successful

For all of you who were wondering, Michael appears to be recovering well from his surgery with no unexpected ramifications from having two gall-bladders. He didn’t recover as quickly as he’d hoped – he worked a part day last Wednesday and even less on Thursday because the vicodin they’d prescribed for pain made him nauseated and dizzy. On Thursday he left here at around 8:00 and returned by noon looking terrible and I was pretty worried that something serious was wrong with him.\’c2\~He stopped taking the heavy-duty pain medication Friday morning, though, and steadily started to feel better to the point where he worked a full day on Saturday. He was off to work today, mostly bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, so hopefully the worst is over and he’ll be able to throw himself back into a normal tax-season schedule very soon. Hopefully for him, that is – he’s been worrying the whole time he was off work because he had so much stacking up for him while he was gone. Naturally I’d prefer that tax season never started, but we can’t all have what we want all the time, now can we?
