Still Here #2

Yep. Still here. Only one week left of Michael’s vacation time. AArrghh!!\par

On the plus side, I’m still feeling pretty good. I went out this morning to Walmart, Michaels, and Winco and bought gardening supplies, fingerpainting paper, and groceries. When I got home we had lunch, then I took a nap, and when the boys woke me up after their nap we did (drumroll, please) fingerpainting!!! Yes, I, myself, set up, monitored and helped, then cleaned up after a fingerpainting episode. In a dry tone of voice, I told the boys, “Don’t say I never did anything for you…” Judah contemplated\’c2\~that for a few seconds and responded thoughtfully, “I wasn’t going to say that, Mom…”\par

We walked to the park after that, and when we got home I made macaroni and cheese with velveeta for dinner and shortcake to have with strawberries for dessert. So I’m still pretty active – of course. After all, I keep hoping that move activity will jumpstart this whole labor thing. I also keep hoping that it’ll start around 8:00 in the morning when I’m fresh and lively, but I’m getting to the point where anytime at all will be just as well (not that I get to choose or anything..)\par
