Bread Dough

When I was making bread a few weeks ago I gave each of the boys about a 1 inch ball of dough to play with; primarily for Judah’s benefit, who really, really, really loves to roll real dough out with a rolling pin. He proceeded to get the playdough rolling pins (actual rolling pins, used for playdough. They were my grandmother’s and they’re probably antiques…), and roll out his dough and drive everybody crazy showing it to them for the rest of the day and continually asking for things to put on it, like cinnamon sugar, butter, salt, ANYTHING, under the mistaken impression that I was going to bake it for him.\par

But at least he rolled it out on the counter. I turned around in time to see Ezra use the other rolling pin to roll out his dough on the kitchen floor. Then he picked up a piece of it and started to put it in his mouth.\par
