We were at\’c3\’82\’c2\~my parent’s house in the beginning of February, during which time I hardly took any pictures. Here’s a couple though of the boys playing with Grandma’s homemade playdough:\par Back in January, I gave Judah a buzz. He was quite enthused about his haircut, telling everybody about it and apparently attributing all sorts of wonderful benefits to it:\par \par They came, they saw, they conquered… I hope. Anyway, the exterminator guys came Friday and did a perimeter spray, sprayed inside the infected cupboards, spot-treated along baseboards throughout the house, and left ant-bait behind the outlets so that the ants would take it back to their homes, without me having ants swarming all over bait [...] Ugh. We have a black ant infestation. It has driven me/us to the breaking point and this morning I actually scheduled a professional to come and treat the place. They scheduled me for Monday, then called back with an opening for Friday!!\’c3\’82\’c2\~ Woo-hoo! If I find one more black ant crawling out of my hair [...] Recently the woman at our church who has selflessly made the communion bread for our weekly communion service nearly 52 weeks a year for several years announced that she was tired and requested volunteers to share the burden. Bread being kind of my thing, I volunteered, and got the honor (?) of being the first [...] Lately Ezra has taken to reenacting the wrongs that have been done to him. One example is how, when he and Judah were “fighting” the other night as we prepared them for bed, Judah shoved him back, resulting in Ezra hitting the floor. Michael was there, so he administered corrective language, and supervised the mandatory [...] Judah’s at an age when he’s starting to grapple with concepts like love – what is it, how is it formed, to whom is it owed, etc. The other day, as I was performing a bathroom service for him he chose to bestow his thoughts upon me. I just made\’c3\’82\’c2\~listening noises, so I won’t write [...] Mystie posted on her blog yesterday: “I know Elly began before I dared to start but when the longing was on me (39 weeks), but I don\’c3\’a2\’e2\’82\’ac\’e2\’84\’a2t know what has come of that fit yet.”\par |
