This morning Ezra woke up in a crummy mood – his PJs had been wet through, he had a fever yesterday, and he’s just generally not feeling so good. I had to change him right away, and get him dressed, so I grabbed the first clothes I could easily get, which happened to be a 3T orange shirt and 3T jeans belonging to Judah. It’s OK, they’re a little long, but they fit fine .0around the waist! Well, he thought that the orange shirt indicated that the shirt had a basketball on it, but alas, it was plain. He was distressed not to have a “ball” shirt, so I went and found him a short-sleeved shirt with a basketball on the back. I offered to replace the long sleeved shirt, but he didn’t want me to take it off, so I put the short sleeved shirt on top of it. Kind of interesting looking. A little later, I went and found my slippers and put them on. “Nuuu! Nuuu!” he complained, pointing at my slippers and his unshod feet. So I suggested he put on his mudboots. He found them and I helped him get them on. A little later, I grabbed my hoodie, since it was kind of cold in the house. “Co, Co!” he said, pointing to his chest. So we went and found one of his coats, a jean jacket. So there he was, a jean jacket on top of a short sleeved “ball” shirt, on top of a long-sleeved 3T shirt, wearing jeans that are about 3 inches too long, with mudboots. And then he was satisfied. He’s worn the jean jacket all day, even during his nap and refuses to take it off. Little Boys are strange creatures.

Guess Ezra has his own ideas when it comes to fashion! LOL!
Elisa was like that. SHe could cook up the wildest outfits according to her own sensibilities that no one else could figure out..
