I brought in 5 tomatoes and 1 cucumber from my garden this week. This would be really good, except that I suspect that the cucumber was my last from my one cucumber plant… it was the third cucumber. The tomatoes also are just finally getting ripe, and I doubt there will be many more before [...] I actually got around to doing something that I’d nearly forgotten I was going to do: I hung up two little truck hangers on the wall in Judah’s room. This job involved making holes with nails and screwing in screws at the right places. The first hanger (a bulldozer), went up easily. The second one [...] Two chores that I do often enough (for me):\par Last week our church held a marriage seminar given by Peacemakers a smaller reformed branch of the larger Family Life organization. It was a big deal in our church, with what seemed like 50% percent of the congregants being involved in putting it on, in some way. My husband was in charge of the fundraising. [...] I feel like I need to at least briefly record recent events, for posterity (i.e. so that I can look back in a year and see what was going on now).
