Michael’s sister, Rosanne, moved in with us last week. She was living with his parents in Vancouver, but wanted to reside closer to her job, teaching the very small private school our church started. She can’t live too much closer – it’s a long walk, but only a 3 minute drive!\par

We’re very happy to have her. Not only has she agreed to babysit for us once a month, but already she’s distracted the kids by reading to them while I make dinner, pitched in with the dishes, and provided companionship for me while Michael was gone in the evenings. And it’s been less than a week!\par

Plus, she’s decorated her room. It was one of our guest rooms – essentially a room that collected junk until I rushed into to try to partially prepare it for company. The walls were white and hadn’t been repainted where they’d been sheetrocked last autumn after we had our house replumbed. It was lonely and cold. Now it’s painted a bold rose pink, and has handsome black bookshelves (Rose’s) and matching black and white duvet covers for the twin beds.\’c3\’82\’c2\~ She’s planning on adding floor length white curtains, as well, and all of her numerous picture frames are black. In other words, it’s the nicest looking room in the house.\par

Needless to say, I’m seriously considering painting our room now – spring green.

Maybe you could get Rose to do it.
Spring green would be a cheerful color. \par

All matching things…in a bedroom…hm, imagine the thought. Painting is ever as far as we get.
