I’m leaving this afternoon to fly to Tri-Cities. My parents will pick me up and tomorrow my siblings and I (without spouses or children) will drive to my grandmother’s memorial in Latah, WA. I’m looking forward to seeing all of my cousins, aunts, and uncles again, although I’m kind of sad not to be bringing my boys – the only great-grandchildren Grandma Mildred had while she was alive. But I’m enthused about being a solitary adult, no children attached for 48 hours! I hope Ezra does OK without me – he has a tendency to be clingy about my leaving him, although he’s usually alright once he’s gone. The babysitter couldn’t be more to his liking though -\’c3\’82\’c2\~\’c3\’82\’c2\~his Daddy! I think Judah will have a great time – he’s already got his dinner plans for tonight (macaroni and cheese with daddy!) and doesn’t seem upset about the thought of my leaving.

Oh yay! Not having to keep track of or think about anyone else is a truly beautiful and resting vacation. Enjoy it!
