Michael’s busy time is January through April 15 (and the first half of October). Mine tends to be right now… April 16 though mid-July. That’s because after the deprivations of tax season, everything seems to be in fast-forward, but also because this is the time of year for memorial services (hopefully no more of those [...] My trip to my grandmother’s memorial last week was very nice! It felt strange to be all by myself though (i.e. with no small children). I kept looking around feeling like I ought to be keeping track of somebody other than myself and realizing that I wasn’t really responsible for ANYONE ELSE! I was glad [...] I feel like my blog has been kind of lifeless lately. I’d like to write deep thoughts from time to time, and yet my days are largely made up of the mundane thoughts that are so unimportant, yet so necessary (i.e. Is there milk in the refrigerator? How long has that sippy cup been sitting [...] I’m leaving this afternoon to fly to Tri-Cities. My parents will pick me up and tomorrow my siblings and I (without spouses or children) will drive to my grandmother’s memorial in Latah, WA. I’m looking forward to seeing all of my cousins, aunts, and uncles again, although I’m kind of sad not to be bringing [...] Not really. But this week has been more socially active for us than normal. On Monday and Tuesday I jaunted over to my friend’s the Barnards’ to watch their kids at 5:00, while they did the whole driving two cars to drop off/pick up\’c3\’82\’c2\~one of them, and then the boys and I stayed to dinner [...] This post is mostly for my benefit to record things that I might want to remember in a few years. I haven’t written much about events in the last month or so, so I’m trying to catch up. These are some important things that happened:\par \par |
