We have done so many things since last I posted! I don’t know where to start and I don’t have time to write all I want to, so I’ll just hit the highlights, some of which I can hopefully elaborate on and add pictures to!\par

- Sourdough – I cooked up my first batch of bread on the morning of my trip to my parents’ in Washington. It barely rose at all, and wasn’t particularly flavorful, but my dad said he enjoyed it, and I doubt the first batch is ever very good. I made another loaf last week which rose quickly and beautifully and was pretty good, although I think it could’ve used just a little more salt! It does last for a long time – it ages, rather than gets stale, intensifying the sour flavor!
- Washington. We had a great time at Mom and Dad’s house, as usual. The boys enjoyed the different toys and the attention, and the opportunity to run around outside frequently and with minimum supervision. Grandma Rachel made green eggs and ham with the boys:

\’c3\’82\’c2\~On Wednesday of the week we were there KD and I took the boys to see their cousin Berith again. She is cute and so small! When we asked Judah what he thought about his cousin he half-smiled, and then said decidedly: “Yes.”\par

One of the toys Judah partcularly enjoys at Grandma’s house is the little foot-powered car which he drives around like a screaming maniac. Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Sam, and Aunt KD are happy to see Judah and Ezra, but I bet they welcome the quiet once we leave!\par

\’c3\’82\’c2\~Since we got home I’ve been productive, even eliminating some clutter from our store-room, like I always plan to but seldom “get around to” doing. Plus I’ve been attempting to clean our carpets with a product my parents have always used (Argosheen), and keep the house in order. I have havely touched my computer and barely checked my email this last week. Less computer use, more productivity – can there be a connection?\par
\par
Last but not least, I’d better record some of the boy’s funnies before I sign off.\par

When we were at Winco last week, just after we got inside and while I was distracted, the loudspeaker overhead was used to page someone. Apparently, Judah thought they were paging him, because I looked around to see him looking up at the ceiling and loudly declaring his intention to “stay down here with Mommy!”\par

Also, on Saturday I asked Judah what he wanted to be when he grew up. He said “I want to get married.” I said “Oh, really?” and he said “Yeah, I’m going to buy a girl and get married.” Oh yes, I laughed.\par
