It works just like a regular advent calendar, except the calendar isn't quite flat, and there's a sheet of candy in molded holes behind each flap. When we had devotions tonight Judah kept his eye on the calendars up on the mantle almost the entire time, and every time Michael asked him a question his answer always ended up veering back toward the calendars and the chocolate.
