Oh, and -- hey! -- you got it done within the week of the arbitrary scheduled day? At this stage in life, that's definitely a success! :)

So what's the book? :) A couple months ago I made a list of some tasks (very concrete, obvious when they can be checked off, not vague) I wanted to acomplish. I'm almost done with it; it's nice to have something to help you focus your efforts. I've also moved away from the "every ___day I do ___" routine, and just listed the things I should do weekly and daily and if I do a couple of the weekly things every day I'll stay pretty much on top of it. Right now I'm more into just trying to keep dishes done, meals cooked, laundry done, and the house generally tidy. :) And boys under control...yeah, I better go. :)

Somebody in our appartment complex has wireless internet and has left it configured for open access, so for a while at least, I have Internet. I thought I'd use it to come see what you've been up to, since, as you said today, we haven't talked much lately. Ah, the Internet is a great thing. Here we can both have a conversation seemingly without being interupted whenever it is convenient. My baby is taking a nap right now...\par
Anyway, I wanted to comment on your little blurb about life planning. I've been doing something kind of along those lines for the past few weeks, only with a much more short term focus. I ask myself at the beginning of the week, "What do I want to get done by Sunday." And, since I'm a list writer, I write down a reasonable amount of tasks and then decide which days to do them on (I am also a schedule maker). So then, on Wednesday, once I finish ironing, cleaning the sinks and mirrors, and vaccuuming, I don't have to feel guilty for sitting and reading, because I've already done my tasks for the day. Plus, the house gets to be reasonably clean by Sunday. So far it's worked for two weeks, we'll see how long it lasts.
