If you like to keep track of other people’s blogs, but don’t want to have to check them every day only to be disappointed if they haven’t written, perhaps a subscription to http://www.bloglines.com is just what you need? You can subscribe to the blogs that you read, and sometimes to comments on those blogs, and instead of of checking them when you remember, you’ll just check your personalized page. On the page, if there’s a new comment you haven’t seen, it’ll show that there’s a post you haven’t read yet and you can read it right there or follow the link to the blog and read it there. I’ve found it helpful, and maybe even time-saving?

Hi Elly!\par
I use Newsgator that does the same thing. It is a pretty handy thing, but just makes it possible to read more blogs, thus defeating the time-saving purpose. I don’t subscribe to most comments – that would really be crazy!\par

Have a great weekend!
I really only have about 4 blogs that I look at with any regularity – and most of them don’t post very often, so this saves me a lot of frustration.
I use Bloglines, but as Mrs. P says, it just allows you to read all sorts of other blogs… It’s a nice quick way to keep up with things.
Thanks or the tip Elly. I have about 10 blogs that I would like to read but never remember to go there. Going to check it out now.
