I put Ezra in the exersaucer yesterday and went down the hall to tend to something. When I returned, Judah started guiltily and I realized that he had gotten the bowl of rice cereal\’c3\’82\’c2\~off of the table and was busily spooning it into (or mostly into) Ezra’s mouth. Ezra had cereal all over his face and seemed rather delighted with the attention. I had a hard time discipline Judah (he’s not supposed to put items in Ezra’s mouth) – he so desperately wants to take part in caring for his baby brother! So today, while Ezra was in the highchair partaking of more rice cereal with applesauce mixed in, I let Judah stand on his plastic chair and help feed him.\’c3\’82\’c2\~ It was messy, but the smiles on both of their faces were worth it.

I have to be careful though – in the last week I’ve had to fish 2 raisins one time and a good sized piece of cracker the other time out of Ezra’s mouth,\’c3\’82\’c2\~thanks to\’c3\’82\’c2\~Judah’s\’c3\’82\’c2\~”help.”\’c3\’82\’c2\~

It’s sooo sweet when children want to help . . . if only they were good at it, lol!
