A day in Olympia

Yesterday we made a day-trip to my friend Meghan’s house in Olympia. We had a good time, although with 5 kids (4 boys and one girl) between the two of us, all under 4, it was a little chaotic and not quite so easy to visit as it was 5 years ago when we were getting together to discuss wedding plans over coffee!\par

We covered our usual range of topics: life with children, education, “family planning,” discipline, life plans, etc. It was a lot of fun. We especially like arguing against a position no-one there holds and feeling very proud of ourselves for our brilliant reasoning. I made a point of berating Meghan for her lack of techno-savy – she doesn’t even have a computer in the house, let alone the internet!\’c3\’82\’c2\~But oh well – she’ll have to join the 21st century eventually.\par

Well, somebody’s coming to look at a plumbing problem – better go!
